In this video we will show one how to authorise or inhibit a secondary monitor using the software utility MurGeeMon.The Disable Secondary Monitor feature can be used to inhibit the secondary monitor when downloading lengthy files or listening to music. This helps to save on ones power bills. The Enable Secondary Monitor feature allows one to authorise the secondary monitor once again and resume work on those applications that were running in the background. Launch MurGeeMon from the icon in the system tray after downloading and installing the same from http://www.murgee.com/MurGeeMon/. Right clicking on the utility icon and selecting Disable Secondary Monitor one will notice that the secondary monitor has now been inhibited. If one, right clicks once again on the icon, the drop down menu now presents a selection for Enable Secondary Monitor. Click on the same and the secondary monitor will be authorised once again.

Change Primary Monitor allows one to divert/swap the screen, shown on a primary monitor, onto a secondary monitor with a better view and higher resolution. This means that the icons, taskbar, the start menu, etc, except the wallpaper background from the primary monitor are diverted/swapped to the secondary monitor. The wallpaper background of the secondary monitor can be the same or different.This video will show one how to divert/swap screens between monitors using Change Primary Monitor from the MurGeeMon software utility.Download the software utility MurGeeMon from http://www.murgee.com/MurGeeMon/ and lauch the application. An icon for the utility will appear in the system tray. Right clicking on the icon presents a selection of Change Primary Monitor. On selecting this, one will see that the screen contents (icons, taskbar, start menu) from the monitor have been diverted/swapped to the other monitor. Preventing accidental straying of the mouse cursor to the other monitor proves helpful in quickly locating the mouse cursor.Download and install the utility from http://www.murgee.com/MurGeeMon/. Right click on the icon that appears in the system tray and select Show MurGeeMon. Click on the tab Monitor Control and in, Press Hotkey Here, type in the hotkey(eg. F3). Select Assign thereafter. One will find that the mouse cursor movements are secured to the monitor on which the cursor is. Select Toggle Now or press the hotkey to move the cursor to the other monitor and secure mouse cursor onto that monitor.
