Woman Saves Drowning Child During Engagement Photos

Engagement photos might seen a little extraneous. You're paying money just to show you know how to put on a ring. Big deal. Yes, because engagement photos can save lives. At least these did.

Becki Salmon and Matt Werner were on hour three of their engagement photo shoot, trying to get the perfect photos, when a child behind them playing near the river fell in and went under.

Immediately, Becki, who is a trained lifeguard and paramedic, ran into the water to save the boy.

Becki said she had to move quick because the 5-year-old boy was having trouble staying above water. Becki moved so fast she got there before his mother did.

Becki was more than happy to jump in fully clothed in order to save the child and I like to think I would have done the same. Or maybe I would of at least ripped off my shirt in a really cool superhero-like fashion and revealed my glistening pecks for the world to see.

Anyway, good for you, Becki. You're awesome.
