If you're friends with a weather man, one thing you never want to do is question their expertise. They will go Liam Neeson on your ass. And if you're the daughter of a weather man, well, your opinions are fame game and will be destroyed on social media. That's exactly what Meteorologist Chris Holcomb did after receiving this text from his 18-year-old daughter Claire.
Apparently Chris Holcomb was on the news predicting that the Atlanta area would get snow that evening, but Claire decided to disagree with her dad, sending him a text letting him know he might actually be wrong. Actually, not so much a might as it was a "dad, you're wrong" type of message. Why? Does she have a degree in weather? No, she just thought that the weather app on her phone is possibly more correct than her dad who is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.
Mr. Holcomb however sent his daughter a rebuttal, one that was left with a silent reply. Of course it was too funny to not share so Chris Holcomb posted the text to his Twitter page and, well, now he's an American hero.
Do not pass go, do not collect $200!
After Holcomb shared the text to his Twitter, which has since received over 51,000 retweets, people all over the internet took notice to applaud the father for coming up with a solid comeback. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me!
So now the big question is WELL DID IT SNOW?! Who was right, dad or the app? Holcomb was happy to inform the people who saw his text that it indeed did snow. Just not AS much as he predicted, but snow...it did.
Respect the radar. Respect the weather man.
