Did You Spot The Walter White Easter Egg In 'Godzilla'? We Didn't Until Now.

For those of us that watched Godzilla, it was mainly to see Bryan Cranston battle the classic 164 ft. lizard, but unfortunately none of that really happened. I obviously won't spoil it in case you haven't seen the film, but what I will spoil is the brief, but very real cameo made by Bryan Cranston's more popular character Walter White. It's fast when it comes, so this freeze frame should help you spot it.

In the credits, words appear around the cast and crew, which are quickly covered up with white tape. In Cranston's case, the tape covers up the surrounding words, but briefly left Walter White on screen for just a moment. Nice.

Pretty rad if you ask me. Especially since we all secretly hoped for some sort of connection from his Joe Brody character in Godzilla to Breaking Bad's Walter White. At least it gives you a brief sense (and hope) of a Breaking Bad film on the big screen and what those two names together would look like. It's just beautiful really.

Kudos to imgur user for spotting the name with his eagle-eye super powers. And Kudos to Godzilla director Gareth Edwards for even placing the easter egg in the first place. You're that much cooler for it!

you morons know he was a popular actor before breaking bad, right?  just because you are all dumb hipsters, and only watch what your facebook news feed tells you to watch, does not mean other stuff never happend.

Ohhhh, a breaking bad movie... That would be great

About Godzilla, I left after an hour. It was "again" a giant commercial for the military like transformers, superman and what not. They always have to implement it even though they are completely useless. Sigh...

Uuuuhhh - I don't think the words 'walter white' showing up by his name in the credits counts as a cameo...  It would have been cool if a guy were dressed like walter white in the movie though...

The movie was bullshit anyway. They killed off Cranston and we had to follow that retard playing his son. Stupid.

@BlankTitanic Yeah I think I read a review on the rotten tomatoes site and some guy summed it up perfectly with "Godzilla plays a supporting role in his own movie".
