Vin Diesel Wrote A Tribute To Paul Walker On The Anniversary Of His Death

Crazy how it has been an entire year since actor Paul Walker was in a car accident that took his life. Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Walker’s death and Vin Diesel, one of Walker’s closest friends and famous co-star wrote a very nice tribute to the man he called Pablo.

From his facebook fan page, a fitting place considering if you’re a fan of Diesel you’re probably a fan of Paul Walker, Diesel posted this note along with a picture of Walker with Diesel’s daughter which has received almost 2 million likes and 46,000 shares since yesterday.

He was a part of so much in my life… long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel… he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo… after all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilicle cord.

He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood… that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life…

A year ago today… a year of mourning… and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo…

Before Walker’s death, he was filming the seventh Fast and Furious movie but hadn’t completed his scenes when the accident occured. It’s been said the movie will “retire” Walker’s character. Furious 7 will be in theaters on April 3rd, 2015.
