Star Wars: The Last Jedi Teaser. 6 Things You Missed

Star Wars fans everywhere are feeling the Force today after the Star Wars: The Last Jedi teaser trailer was posted for all to see. It included all of our favorite space-faring characters from the franchise and shots of space battles and ancient islands gave all of us a taste of what the new story in that galaxy far, far away has in store for us. If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the teaser.

Now, here are six little known moments from the teaser that even the biggest Star Wars fans might not have caught upon first watch.

Darth Vader’s Helmet Has Seen Better Days

At :51 seconds into the teaser, we see a quick shot of Darth Vader’s helmet, or what’s left of it. The helmet survived the destruction of Starkiller Base, but it’s looking worse for wear. What important part will the shattered pieces of Vader’s helmet play in The Last Jedi?

Luke Skywalker Can Talk

Spoiler Alert, The Force Awakens ends with main character Rey tracking down Luke Skywalker on a desolate planet. Luke doesn’t say a single word in the film which left many Star Wars fans wondering if he is now mute. Fear not, Star Wars fans, Luke Skywalker talks several times in The Last Jedi teaser so we can only assume that he continues to talk in other parts of the movie.

BB-8 Is In The Movie

Remember BB-8? That lovable beeping ball from The Force Awakens? Star Wars trailer sleuths may have noticed that he’s making a comeback in The Last Jedi. Thank god.

Rey Can Lift Rocks With Her Mind For Some Reason

In part of the trailer we can see Rey lifting a bunch of rocks without even touchign them. How did she do this? Magic? Ghosts? I’ve never heard of any entity or ability giving someone in the Star Wars universe the ability to manipulate things or people with their mind or spirit. Until they give this thing a name, I say we just call it “Star Magic.”

That Ship From The First Movies Is Also In This Movie

I saw the last few movies and this ship that was in the last few movies is also in this movie.

Lucasfilm Made It

This was maybe the biggest reveal in the whole trailer for me because I’m not prepared for a Star Wars that doesn’t have the Lucasfilm logo at the start and thanks to this trailer and my keen eye, I don’t have to be.
