Teacher Resigns Over Stolen Nude Photos on Revenge Porn Site

PhilHaney by PhilHaney on Dec. 09, 2013

The new J.J. Abrams produced TV series Almost Human taking place in the year 2048 is a post Singularity robot buddy cop show that any fan of science fiction should love. It asks a lot of important questions about what it means to be human, the implications of the fast pace of new technologies and is it OK to have sex with a robot?  The reason I already dig this show is that it’s only on episode number two (the first two episodes premiered this past week) and they have already covered what every guy in the future refers to as “Bang-bots” – life like sex robot! In the world of Almost Human, human police officers are paired with life like androids. Our hero detective John Kennex is paired with Dorian, a robot who is capable of emotion. Other models of robots are not so emotional as we discover that there is a whole industry of sex robots who are basically programmed to be DTF.

While I recommend the show, the larger debate is if in the next forty years are we all going to be popping some future Viagra and banging the snot out of our silicon friends… and would that be OK with your significant other. Is robot sex considered cheating? A completely unscientific Break poll determined that dudes were completely OK with having sex with a life like robot that is indistinguishable from a real woman (or dude). As for if it was cheating? Respondents thought that as long as the robot did not have a level of consciousness or self-awareness- such as the advanced cop robot in Almost Human it’s OK. It would sort of be like boning a high tech blow up doll… (Check out the sex bot from Almost Human on the left, yowza!)

So what do you guys think? Is it OK to have sex with a life like robot that is undistinguishable from a real person or would that be considered cheating on your spouse/ significant other?  Let us know in the comments.

I'm sad for her but at the same time it's stupid to have nude pictures of oneself on a phone. Call it privacy or whatever but there is something called "Common Sense". It's as if back in the day people were carrying albums of nude pictures anywhere (does anyone know the site?

She showed poor judgement by making those pictures (which can be easily intercepted).  Who would want to trust her in a position of judgement when it came to their interests?

Her name is Jaime Climie. Do a Google search and read all the stuff posted about her by her students and coworkers. It's not just one pic that got her in trouble..... The woman is dirty.

What is wrong with all these american women nipples? Is it malformation or mutation? Oh no! I think it has affected the face too.

My wife and 2 of her cousins are teachers. The reality is they have to be cautious as to how they are portrayed in pictures and have all made changes to their facebook & friends after becoming teachers. It sucks that someone "hacked" this woman's phone but the bottom line is she's done now. It's part of her career choice and something every teacher is fully aware of. No sense in arguing it.

The article you guys wrote even says that she chose to resign so why are you assuming that she HAD to resign? It's pretty obvious why she chose to resign.

Teach Older Students - Never be respected, constantly be hit on and have them look down on you

Teach Younger Students - Piss off over-protective parents trying to "save" their children from society before they realize it's hopeless.

She'll prob go back to school and start teaching University or something.

Thing is, with all iPhones, all you'd need to do is call the carrier/Apple and have that phone locked.  She didn't do that.

It's not fair that these pictures are censored.

Who wants to hire her as your private tutor?  I think she's now booked till next year for "private lessons".  She's got a pretty nice body.

@Sam-Axe-363 Because anyone who actually cared about the photo went to a real website that doesn't pretend to cater to children.

@Teknopuls3 Thing is with ANY phone, the second you remove the sim card the carrier is incapable of doing anything. And that apple part is an outright lie - Apple offers an Anti-Theft feature for use at the users desire and for that feature to work the phone has to be connected to: A) A network (WiFi or 3G) B) The user's apple id.

In terms of apple personally locking your phone on your behalf, you'll need a police report. Get real here, we're civilians not the NSA.

@LostKeys @Teknopuls3 And on top of that, even if they DID "lock it", you don't erase the stored data which can be later on accessed through another device, no matter how the fuck they tried to protect it.
