Taiwanese City Offers Special Mass Transit Cards Featuring A Porn Star

The city of Taipei, Taiwan has come up with a genius method to increase sales of its mass transit system swipe cards. They placed images of a Japanese porn star on the cards; 27-year old Yui Hatano who is reportedly a fan of Taiwan and was eager to help out. So now the good people of Taipei have her to thank for making the train an even sketchier place to travel.

Depending on how you look at it, the photos thankfully feature Hatano clothed; otherwise dudes might be pulling it out on the metro way more than they already do.

Regardless of her wearing clothes, Taiwan’s EasyCard Corp, the company that runs the swipe card system for the city says that they sold out of all 15,000 sets within a day. Metro riders could choose from two different types of cards; one labeled “Angels” and one labeled “Demons.” Angles and demons is already what the guy screaming in the back of the bus sees anyway.

As you can imagine not everyone was happy with porn themed metro cards for everyone, saying it is disrespectful to women, what about the children, blah, blah, blah. After some negations the cards were restricted from being sold openly in stores and had to be ordered over the phone via a hotline. Maybe next time they can get some phone sex operators to take the calls.

This whole thing brings up a lot of questions. Why are so many people buying the porn themed metro cards? Are people who own a car and don’t use the city public transportation purchasing the cards just to see the clothed porn stars? Do they know they can see these girls naked on the Internet, most likely for free?
