The hackers who hit Sony just unleashed a wave of private emails with some seedy details about how some of the media giant’s highest executives feel about their big stars. How bad are they? Let’s just say they aren’t going to be joining any Kevin Hart or Angelina Jolie fan clubs anytime soon.
An email exchange between three executives of Sony’s entertainment division featured a terse exchange about Kevin Hart’s paycheck. Clint Culpepper, a Sony studio executive, said Hart’s agent was asking for more money to help with the social media promotion for one of his upcoming movies. He described Hart by saying, “I’m not saying he’s a whore but he’s a whore.” You can read the actual email obtained by the hackers in the image below.

It gets worse from there. The emails also revealed some behind the scenes drama regarding Angelina Jolie and director David Fincher who recently dropped out of the latest Steve Jobs biopic written by “Newsroom” writer Aaron Sorkin. According to the hacked emails, Jolie is trying to get Fincher to direct her “Cleopatra” movie and that led to a terse exchange between the movie’s producer Scott Rudin and Sony executive Amy Pascal. During their email exchange, Pascal described Jolie as insane and someone with a “rampaging spoiled ego.” She also said, “I have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats and I will tell her this myself if you don’t.” Well, Amy, it looks like you won’t have to now that your email is all over the Internet.

Hmmm, greedy whores, “rampaging spoiled ego(s)” and “spoiled brats?” That sounds like just about every movie studio executive we’ve ever heard of in our lifetime.
