Does The New Ninja Turtles Rap Reference A Sexual Act?

Todd-Spence by Todd-Spence on Jul. 22, 2014

The Ninja Turtles used to sing about cheese pizza, now they sing about wanting a piece of your girlfriend.

The biggest joke of the entire Ninja Turtles franchise was the '90's song 'Ninja Rap' by Vanilla Ice. It was used in the second film, Secret of the Ooze, but at least Ice wasn't singing about passing a woman around.

Here is the song, which was released earlier today. A total of five artists have been credited on the track, all of whom are no stranger to sexual lyrics. You'll find the questionable lyric in the third verse sung by Ty Dolla $ign around 2:50.

If you missed it, here are the lyrics provided by the site rap.genius.com.

[Verse 3: sung by Ty Dolla $ign]
I told your girl don't question my [??]
Takin' pics for me, told her smile for me

Pass her off I'm a real team player
Bandanna on my face like a gangster

Maybe running a train is the more correct term in this case? Either way, it comes off as a little X-rated.

Ty is currently signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records label. He's not the greatest lyricist, but after looking at his past songs, he's certainly no Shel Silverstein. Here are some lyrics from his song 'Booty Poppin';

We just got out the club, And we drunk as fuck, We both horny, horny, Got my main bitch in my bed, So we can't go there, But we've got this backseat, backseat, I got this magnum in my pocket, I'm getting head off in this cockpit, I got her screaming and hollering, I let her ride it while I'm watching

So the fact that he's singing about a gang bang isn't completely out of the ordinary. And obviously Nickelodeon, the film's publisher didn't notice it.

So how do you take this lyric? I don't think I'm looking too deeply into it. Believe me, I wish I were. But passing a woman off while keeping your face covered sounds pretty shady to me. Add a dank sewer into the mix, and we have a real problem on our hands.
