“Thermal Anomalies” Discovered In Great Pyramid That Could Be Hidden Chamber

Some surprising new revelations have come out of Egypt today and this is not the fact that I just learned the song “Walk Like An Egyptian” was not in fact written in Egypt.

Scientists studying the Great Pyramid Of Giza used thermal imaging cameras to detect anomalies that could indicate previously unknown secret chambers. So either Egyptologists have discovered a new room in one of the ancient pyramids or they are filming a new Predator movie set in Egypt.

The teams studying the pyramid observed these rising heat levels which could either be explained by different types of rock that hold greater heat, or voids in the structure that would have internal air currents. This led scientists to hypothesis that there may in fact be an unknown chamber or passageway in the pyramid. Maybe there is another, unknown mummy buried there, or maybe as one “expert” on Egypt recently stated.. the pyramids were not built as tombs for the pharaohs, but to store grain.

Just to be clear scientists in Egypt this week really did find evidence of a possible hidden chamber. Egyptian Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damaty and his team detected three adjacent stones on the bottom of the pyramid showing higher than usual temperatures.

Did they find the Star Gate too?

el-Damaty told reporters,

“The first row of the pyramid's stones are all uniform, then we come here and find that there's a difference in the formation,' he said.

This is the great room in the Great Pyramid where they store lots of great grain.

A body was never found for the pharaoh or queen at the pyramids of Giza. This has led to the hope that those remains may still be hidden somewhere within the  pyramid. Researchers are using the heat imaging to scan several of the ancient pyramids including Khafre pyramid of Giza and two pyramids in Dahshur.  What do you think they will find?
