Woman Spends $215K On Plastic Surgery To Look Like Caricature Of Herself

This is probably one of the craziest weird news stories I’ve heard about in a long time – and that’s really saying something. So far this year we’ve learned about a guy who wanted to have plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber, a guy who collected all of his toenails in a jar for 30 years and an old dude in Iceland who went on a quest to find a human donor for his penis museum.

This Woman Spent 215K To Look Like A Caricature; That’s It, You Win Internet, I Can’t Take It Anymore

However I contend that nothing is as weird as the story of Krystina Butel who spent $215,000 on plastic surgery in an effort to make herself look like a caricature… of herself. Couldn’t she have done something normal, like the lady who spent her life savings trying to look like Kim Kardashian?

Butel was just 15 years old when she went on a vacation with a friend and her family to Ibiza, Spain. While walking down the street on one of the last days of the trip they were stopped by one of those street artists you see in tourist areas around the world who will do a quick caricature for you for $20. It’s a rite of passage for most people to beg their parents to get one of these while on vacation. They end up looking nothing like you and most people quickly move on with their lives.  I have one of myself I got done at Disney World when I was ten years old; I’m playing basketball and I look like an amorphous blob. I hate basketball, and amorphous blobs.

However for Butel this was life changing experience, she says;

“When I saw the picture for the first time, I was jealous of it. The cartoon woman was glamorous – she was everything I wanted to be.”

Butel As A Teenager, Before The Drawing Came Into Her Life

Is she looking at the same cartoon, we are? Because the one I see looks like Snookie and the ghost of Anna Nicole Smith had a disfigured love child. That small fact didn’t deter her as after she returned home to England from the trip she started planning her transformation. Starting when she was 17 she hopped on the plastic surgery train to freak town getting botox, semi-permanent make-up and five, count them –five  boob jobs, pumping her up from a 32D to a 36K. To top it off she even had her nipples tattooed into the shape of hearts- I’m assuming to match the little hearts that the street artist drew next to her caricature.  Good artwork is all about the details!

Thank the lord that she didn’t get drawn by Picaso or Pollock.

She sounds like a real keeper, if by keeper, you mean keep her locked up and away from the plastic surgery doctor’s office. While Haters gonna hate, she doesn’t care as long as her fiancé David Scriven is by her side, and he’s totally supportive.  Legend says he's also the bastard child of George "The Animal" Steele.

The Caricature Lady is engaged to Curly from the Three Stooges

This would be a good idea for a website, a place for people to post their ideas for plastic surgery and/or tattoos and let the public vote on if they should do it or not. Although if I know the internet people will purposely up-vote the guy who wants to have breast implants on his forehead.

I always wondered if mermaids have starfish shaped nipples.

What’s kind of sad is that apparently there was no one in her life to stop her from going down this path. If I was 15 or even 17 years old and said to my parents; “hey, guess what, I’m going to get plastic surgery so I can look like caricature that some random street artist drew of me” – they would probably have me committed.  Luckily for her, the now 30 year-old hair salon owner has nobody telling her “no” and has no intention of stopping, saying that the caricature always “tells” her what procedures to get done next.   Great.. now the thing is talking to her.
