Pizza Restaurant Owner Gives Back With Pay It Forward Post-It Note System

This pizza restaurant owner offers slices so cheap, customers began to pay it forward.

Each $1 slice you buy for a future customer, you make a note on a post-it and place it on the restaurant’s wall.

The next customer that comes in can grab one of the many post-it notes and bring it to the counter for their already paid for slice.

“The homeless, they come in and say, ‘I hear you give out free pizza to homeless people,’ ” said owner Mason Wartman. Customers often just leave notes saying how much the system has helped them.

Wartman says most people want to help others, but don’t know what to do. Thankfully for places like Wartman’s Rosa’s Fresh Pizza in Philadelphia, you don’t have to look far to help someone in need.

Visit Rosa’s Fresh Pizza in Philadelphia to join (and enjoy!) their $1 slice program.
