Real Picture Of The Jersey Devil Finally Taken?

The legend of the Jersey Devil has fascinated residents of the Pine Barrens area of Southern New Jersey for over a hundred years. Now a man named Dave Black of Little Egg Harbor thinks he may have captured photographic evidence of the small hooved creature with bat-like wings and horns that supposedly lets out a horrendous shriek.  And you thought your neighbor’s dog was annoying.

What the hell is this?

This is what happens when you litter the highway with fast food wrappers in New Jersey and wild life eats the remnants.

Dave Black submitted the above photo to NJ.com that he says he took in Galloway, New Jersey. He was driving home from work when he says he saw what he thought was a llama running along the trees on the side of the road. He says;

"I was just driving past the golf course in Galloway on Route 9 and had to shake my head a few times when I thought I saw a lama. If that wasn't enough, then it spread out leathery wings and flew off over the golf course."

In real life the Jersey Devil looks a lot cuddlier.

Black says that he took the photo with his cell phone and did not Photoshop it or alter it in any way. He snapped a few shots and this is the one that came out. Afterward he just sat and looked at the image for an hour. He told NJ.com;

"I'm not looking for anything in return, just thought someone else could maybe explain this in a more rational way."

Someone even suggested that it was an owl picking up an animal and carrying it away, giving the appearance of a winged mammal. That, or there is really an undiscovered species just chilling on the side of the road in Jersey. Also this past week a woman in Leeds, New Jersey says she captured video of the Jersey Devil.

Dragons?

I say if he wants to prove that, he needs to submit his phone for analysis. There will be a file on his phone’s camera that matches the file types that camera uses with corresponding file names numbered in order. Even if those records match, the image could still be a puppet or a stuffed animal of a horse with wings attached that he threw in the air.  He needs to take a lie detector test; I’m sick of these people getting away with hoaxes, as a nation we really need to crack down on this and make it a priority.

Break Question Of The Day: Is this proof of The Jersey Devil? Or all a big hoax?
