Celebrate Pulp Fiction’s 20th Anniversary With 20 Cool Behind The Scenes Pics

Pulp Fiction opened in theaters on October 14th, 1994 as an instant cult classic. I personally remember renting the movie on VHS and being completely blown away. Also, the Gimp scene scarred me for a few days after the fact.

The movie earned Quentin Tarantino (and co-writer Roger Avary) his first Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay alongside other nominations the film had garnered, but its the movie itself that has stayed with fans for the last 20 years, from the iconic title design, to the soundtrack, to the quotable speeches. God knows I couldn’t go a day in high school without quoting “does he look like a bitch” with my friends. It’s useful in most conversations.

So let’s take a look back at some rad behind the scenes photos at the making of the cult classic we continue to love so damn much.

For those of you with a hankering to watch Pulp Fiction today to celebrate, but without a copy of your own (a crime if you ask me), it’s still on Netflix Instant for all to enjoy. I know I’ve already watched it once today.
