Parents Punish Daughter For Eating Pop Tarts By Making Her Live In The Woods

We've all heard of being sent to bed without dinner as punishment, but the parents of a 14-year-old girl are taking it to another level. When they found out she ate a Pop Tart without their permission, they allegedly sent her off to live in a tent in the woods for a week. Maybe they're more of a Toaster Strudel kinda family.

Actually, James and Crystal Driggers are active citizens of the body-building world so their pantry is probably void of all processed food and filled with tubs of whey protein, ya know, stuff a 14-year-old would love. Investigators say that the bulging biceped couple ordered their child to go out into the woods and set up a tent. They provided her with toilet paper, a flashlight, a whistle, a watch and NO POP TARTS. For food, it was reported that she had to meet someone at the fence of her family property in order to receive it. She also had to endure severe thunderstorms and wild hogs that are said to be in the area. That'll surely teach her to eat tasty breakfast pastries.

This wasn't the first time the Driggers have done something like this. Apparently, last month she was prohibited from coming into the house from the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Maybe that was a punishment for eating an Oreo.

Luckily authorities found the girl two days into her punishment during a thunderstorm. The Driggers were charged with child neglect and are currently in custody. The child is in the custody of the South Carolina Department of Social Services and the victim’s four siblings have been placed in the custody of their grandparents (Wait, what? She had siblings?!). This is just like Mommie Dearest, but instead of wire hangers it's junk food that's not allowed in the house. Parents can be sometimes annoying but at least be thankful they yours weren't this insane.
