McDonalds Brought Back The Hamburglar, Only He Looks Like A Hipster D-Bag

Looks like McDonalds is getting in on the throwback train by bringing back one of its more cherished mascots; the Hamburglar. Only instead of giving us the goofy, cartoonish hamburger loving criminal we’ve come to appreciate over the years, McDonalds decided to unveil a more hipster looking fella wearing what looks a Halloween costume. You had ONE job, McDonalds.

Ah well, at least it couldn’t get any worse–oh wait, they gave him skinny jeans and red high top sneakers. Ughhh. For a guy so “stylish”, how is it that he likes wearing the worst neck tie ever?

Really hoping this is just prank marketing that will in turn be some sort of sketch on Key and Peele, buuuut I doubt it. Instead, we’ll be seeing this guy on commercials and billboards, shoving his perfect five o’clock shadow down our throats. I have to add though, once you watch the commercial that came along with the new Hamburglar’s look, I can kind of appreciate what they were going for by creating a more 3-Dimensional character by making him apparently a father, with a kid, who loves to dress up and steal peoples hamburgers. Sounds like a concept that I don’t mind seeing unfold out of pure bizarre curiosity.

Wait, is this who we think it is??!

It’s just unfortunate that they made him look so…stupid. What do you guys think of this new Hamburglar look?
