The incident happened in October 2015, and Joshua James was recently arrested for it.
The alligator that Joshua had thrown was 3 ½ feet long.
And his parents are saying it was just “a stupid prank.”
So what the hell happened?
James drove through the Wendy’s drive-thru around 2:15 a.m. and was handed a drink…and that's when Joshua thought it'd be best to toss the gator through the window.
The kid admitted to picking the gator up from the side of the road and also throwing it through the Wendy’s drive-thru window.
If you're gonna get arrested for a crime against Wendy's, I guess you have to make an impression.
He was charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor unlawful possession and transportation of an alligator.
Because that is a law…in Florida.
Luckily for this dude, his mom has come to his defense: "It was just a stupid prank that he did that's now turning into this. He's a prankster. He does stuff like this because he thinks it's funny.”
She sounds super hot...
