Making A Murderer's Brendan Dassey To Be Free! Break Poll: How Great Is That?

A bombshell just hit the Internet for all you Making a Murderer fans. Brendan Dassey, who as a teenager was convicted of helping Steven Avery kill Teresa Halbach has had his conviction overturned by a judge. Within 90 days Dassey could be released from prison!

One of the highlights, or rather lowlights of the documentary series was when Avery’s nephew Brendan was railroaded into a confession by Manitowoc County police detectives and later his own defense attorney. The fact that Dassey was 17 at the time and had a learning disability caused many viewing the Netflix doc to question if his admission of guilt in the murder was truthful.

Well now a judge in Milwaukee agrees and has ruled that Dassey’s constitutional rights were violated in the 2007 trial and is throwing out his conviction. The state has just 90 days to refile the case. If they don’t, Dassey walks free.  Here is the clip of Dassey’s lawyer Len Kachinsky allowing the prosecution’s investigator to grill his own client, one of the major reasons the new judge has overturned the case. Warning: this video may cause wall punching.

Which brings us to our Break Poll!
