Magician Makes Guy Believe He’s Become Invisible, Starts Trying To Steal Stuff

Netflix can be real hit or miss with its original shows (I am one of 12 people who sat through the entirety of Iron Fist), but season one of Magic for Humans looks like it’s going to be a hit. In this show, magician Justin Willman does – you guessed it – magic! But it’s more than that. Some of his moves are simple, whereas others involve a giant flash mob of people who are in on the gag just so they can trick other people.

“When I was a kid I put a tooth under my pillow, went to sleep, and in the morning there was money there,” Justin explains. “That tangible evidence was more than enough proof to make me believe in the tooth fairy. To find out how far I could take that premise, I set up a large flash-mob style social experiment all to convince one guy he had turned invisible.”

Magician Makes Guy Believe He’s Become Invisible: It’s Not For Everybody

Obviously, neither dude becomes invisible, but watching them either freak out or sneak around is pretty funny. Honestly, the white dude really wasted his invisibility – running around asking if people can see you? You’re INVISIBLE ya idiot, of course they can’t! Poor guy looked like he was on the verge of an anxiety attack; someone buy him a stress ball.

And as for the black guy, he fucking gets it. Snuggling up to people laying on blankets, trying to steal wine out of picnic baskets – that’s the sort of shit you do while you’re invisible. He’s pretty lucky he didn’t try anything too risqué though, otherwise they’d have proof on-camera that he was the one who motorboated eight different women at the park that day.
