'Turn Down For What' Without Music Is Completely Terrifying

Todd-Spence by Todd-Spence on Jul. 28, 2014

Music videos without music is probably one of my favorite gags on the internet, and Lil Jon's Turn Down For What has finally fallen victim to the joke. The song's popularity combined with the utterly insane video (that many still haven't seen) make it the perfect target. And if you're just now watching the music video for the first time, prepare yourself for some nightmares, because the musicless version is just horrific.

This particular musicless video is interesting because it wasn't made by the normal musicless maestro/creator Mario Wienerroither, but a college student who goes by Alyssa on youtube. She writes in her Youtube bio: "This project was actually for an audio techniques foley assignment. Most of the sounds were created and recorded by myself or a friend."

It's pretty great, but I have to say I'm a huge fan of the originator's work, especially since Mario doesn't actually work with the entire video, but only a portion.

If you haven't seen Mario's musicless Dancing In The Streets video with David Bowie and Mick Jagger, please do yourself a favor and watch it now. The belch might be my favorite part.

Not really 'Lil Jon's song.' It was entirely produced/created by DJ Snake using ONE lyric from Lil Jon.
