KFC To Pay Medical Bills For Young Pit Bull Attack Victim Asked To Leave

PhilHaney by PhilHaney on Jun. 16, 2014

This week Colonel Sanders had the makings for its biggest public relations disaster since the public tasted the KFC Double Down. A woman named Kelly Mullins in Jackson, Mississippi took her 3-Year-Old granddaughter for a bite to eat at a local KFC franchise when an employee asked them to leave due to the girl’s appearance. This is weird since they haven’t kicked people out of restaurants in Mississippi for the way they look in a long time, or so I thought. (There it is!)

This insanely insensitive request came due to the fact that young girl was the victim of a pit-bull attack and her facial injuries were “frightening other customers.” Victoria Wilcher lost her right eye, suffered broken ribs, puncture wounds and a broken jaw when she was attacked by three of her grandfather’s pit-bulls at his home in April.

The only thing frightening here is other “humans.”

Victoria's grandmother was taking her to the KFC on the way home from a doctor’s appointment to buy mashed potatoes and gravy in hopes that the girl would be able to eat the soft food. It’s probably best that the girl didn’t eat KFC’s mashed potatoes, as in the past employees have created giant mashed potato boobs and licked them.

KFC Employee Makes Giant Mashed Potato Boob and Licks It

Good Guy Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporate - or excuse me, KFC -as all you conspiracy theorists know they are legally only allowed to call if KFC because the headless genetically modified organisms they use for meat are not technically chicken- has stepped up and in an apology to the family, promised 30 thousand dollars for Victoria’s medical bills. In a statement the company said:

"We take this very seriously, as we have zero tolerance for any kind of hurtful or disrespectful actions toward our guests. Our investigation is ongoing, but we have been in touch with the family and are committed to doing something appropriate for this beautiful little girl and her family. We will also work with the franchisee to take appropriate action at the restaurant once the specifics of the incident are determined."

At least we know for sure they use real chicken meat at McDonald’s!

The response to the allegations came quickly after Victoria’s grandmother posted her outrage over the incident to the Facebook group “Victoria’s Victories” – which is tracking Victoria’s recovery. She posted the girls photo with the caption “Does this face look scary to you?” No, but the KFC employee who would have the balls to go up to a little girl and ask her to leave sure seems scary.

What do you guys think, did KFC do the right thing by donating 30 thousand dollars to Victoria’s medical costs? While you think it over, enjoy this guy:

Their maybe more than what meets the eyes to this story.  For some reason no one can figure out which if any employee did what is claimed and its possible that this may have been a scam and that KfryC is not actually guilty of anything.  I am not saying this is for sure, but its what is starting to show

Pay the medical bills and set up a college fund for the girl.  50 grand now in an account with the interest by the time she is college age should take care of it for her.  Then she won't have to work at a place like KFC when she grows up.

It wasn't the pit bulls entire fault...I have friends wh own pit bulls and they're lovable as I don't know what...its the pit bulls owners fault for how they treat their anamials...if the pits are aggressive its BC of the owners..

How big of a moron do you have to be to ask that little girl to leave? Kudos to KFC corporate for stepping up.

Wait, she was attacked by pit bulls? But I thought this breed was a breed of love and peace just like Muslims are.

That kfc needs to learn how to respect people and now judge them by how they look. That little girl is beautiful and I hope that other people stop going there, and yes their food does suck big ones.

The news said family tried get donations. So they put jars out and no help. Then said KFC kicked them out resteraunt. KFC said that never happened and said they didn't need to fabricate a story and KFC gave them money. We need to check facts b4 we assume a story is true on here.

Great, they have to pay medical expenses because of the stupidity of one of its employees. Oh well, that's nice of them and it's only a drop in the bucket for Yum Brands.

Good they're paying for her medical bills but I would like to see that manager fired. Why do you have to put up " pit bull" for. Would you done the same if it was a Labrador?

I wanna see this grandma! Maybe SHE was the one whose ass of a face was "frightening other customers," and being the oblivious witch she is she decided to shift all of the attention to her granddaughter who nobody minded.

Managers and employees alike represent the company they work for. All it takes is for one idiot to destroy the reputation of an organization. In the Army we called them "strategic corporals."

Theres a conspiracy against pit bulls, if like a German shepherd or whatever attacks someone, the media just says dog attack, but when its a pittie they get STUPIDLY SPECIFIC! It makes people think ALL pit bulls are bad!!! IM SICK OF THE HATE!!!!

IN KFC's defense, it was one ignorant ass that happened to be working for them and the company stepped up when they found out about it.

It shouldn't be KFC's responsibility to pat the medical bill. They should fire the employee n give her free meals for a year

KFC is taking ownership of the problem I think thats great they are paying the medical bills. At least they arent sweeping it under the rug traumatizing a young girl who had already been through so much. Your employees are KFC and I hope that jerk lost his job.

KFC is a franchise, so yeah the corporate big wigs did the right thing with the money for the girl, as it's not their fault an employee screwed up. The owners of that franchise location are going to likely have their rights pulled or pay a huge fine. You can't really blame KFC as a whole, for the ignorance of a single idiotic employee.

OMG!, this is a little girl who obviously was brutally harmed. You don't tell her she has to leave. Doesn't matter if it's a car accident, dog attack, or whatever. I'd offer her a free meals at my restaurant!  If this story is true, that employee is up for the A-hole of the year award, and a finalist for the A-hole of the decade award.

Maybe she was crying because she didn't want to eat there to begin with, but her evil grandmama was forcing her.

James-True-532

I agree. Everyone seems to have a false sense of entitlement these days. Neither the little girl nor her grandma were owed anything, but I think KFC did a nice job of stepping up to an unnecessary plate.
