Keira Knightley Releases Topless Picture In Protest Of Photoshop

Actress Keira Knightley is no stranger to the topic of Photoshop manipulation. In 2004 for the release of her film King Arthur the movie studio manipulated the poster art to make her breasts appear much bigger than they really are, which created a total uproar. Roar!

The movie studio gave her a free "upgrade" she didn't ask for.

Now she has had enough. If you want to see her boobs, fine! Here they are! But you are going to see them in their true form, unaltered by the magic of computers. In a new photo shoot for Interview Magazine she agreed to pose completely topless, but on one condition; the photo would be unaltered showing her breasts in their natural beauty… except I guess for being in black and white, so you know, it is artistic and not pornography.

She hates Photoshop, ironically editors of websites across the Internet today have been forced to use Photoshop to cover her nipples. : (

Knightly says: "I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters. That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said: ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’"

That makes sense to us; topless protests are the best protests. Are you still reading this? Click here to see the NSFW image.

Below is a picture of Keira Knightley with clothes on for comparison, although to be honest I can’t tell if this is Natalie Portman. What do you think, does she have a point about photo manipulation when she says; "I think women's bodies are a battleground and photography is partly to blame."
