An Arizona high school student who pulled out his penis during his football team's yearbook photo as part of a prank faces now faces a felony charge and a slew of misdemeanor charges.
School officials confirmed Monday that 19-year-old Hunter Osborn was arrested over the weekend after someone reported his uncensored prank. Court documents allege that “he exposed his penis through the top of his waistband of his football uniform pants,” a move that Osborn says he only did after receiving a dare from another teammate.
Police claimed that approximately 60 students ranging in ages from 15 to 19 years old were present at the time of the incident, as well about a dozen faculty members.
Phoenix-area Red Mountain High School claims that it had ordered 3,400 yearbooks to be distributed to students, but just 250 have been released so far. The district will try to reclaim the yearbooks that have already been sent out, while the rest will be individually censored in order to block the offending image.
Osborn was slapped with 69 counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure and one count of felony furnishing harmful items to minors, a charge that can carry more than three years of jail time, fours years of probation and a fine of $150,000.
