High School Student Suspended For Wearing Fake Bomb For Prom Proposal

For the dumbass of the day we go to Washington state where a high school student made one of the worst prom proposals in history. The proposal was so “bad” in fact that the 18-year-old ended up getting suspended for five days. While his lady of choice said “yes,” Ibrahim Ahmad, a senior at La Center High School was in hot water with school officials for wearing a fake bomb into the school cafeteria as part of a stunt to ask the girl to the big dance carrying a sign that said:

“I know it’s A little late, But I’m kinda… THE BOMB! Rilea, Will U Be My Date To Prom?

Well this went off with a bang.

“I’m Middle Eastern, and I thought the bomb was kind of funny and clever,” Ahmad told local reporters.

Who would get upset about that? It’s all just a big misunderstanding. I got an idea; maybe he can invite everyone to his graduation party with a fake school shooting?

Watch this high quality vertical video of his prom proposal:

Here is a quick clue I can sell you if you’d like to buy it: much like the airport, don’t make whacky bomb jokes at school. While I appreciate a good “I’m going to blow this place up- ….with a frickin’ awesome party!” – School might be the place that doesn’t take kindly to that sort of LOLing.

Ahmad said he felt his suspension from school was kind of racist given that he’s Middle Eastern and that “I feel like no one else would have gotten in trouble for it.”

Do you agree that he should have been suspended?  Or did things really get blown out of proportion? Now because of the suspension he also won’t be allowed to go to the prom. –Boom!
