Here Are The Most Intense Movies Leaving Break On October 31st

Do you guys like movies? Do you like intense, action packed movies? Good news, we have LOADS of fun films on Break Movies. Bad news, some of these awesome films will be gone on October 31st. So you have until then to pop some popcorn, call your best friends and have a movie night! Instead of “Netflix and Chill” now you can “Break and Dump.” -Don’t ask.

Make sure you have enough snacks, be careful though; Carol is allergic to nuts and Gretchen only eats gluten free, so good luck with the snack situation. Ah! Darrel just called and said he can’t make Friday. You know what, on second thought forget movie night, and just watch these alone. People are annoying anyway, they will want to talk through the whole thing, someone will start texting and the glare from their phone will be super distracting. So let us know how these flicks are! Check back next month for some sweet new releases.

Total Recall

Start the reactor, Quaid! You won’t have to spend two weeks on Mars to enjoy the original Total Recall with Arnold and a three breasted lady. Do you think the whole thing was a memory implant?

Synopsis: “A construction worker on earth in 2084 has disturbing nightmares about life on Mars. Upon visiting an agency for vacation-memory implants, he discovers that his mind has been tampered with, since the Mars 'vacation' and his nightmares don't jibe. With his memory induced artificially, he realizes that he had once been an intelligence agent who rebelled against the Martian dictatorship, and consequently suffered a memory-wipe. He returns to Mars with a female sidekick, bent upon violently overthrowing the dictator.”

2001 Maniacs

Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund stars in this raunchy, gory remake of the classic film Two Thousand Maniacs as the mayor of a town full of Confederate cannibals.

Synopsis: “Gory but kitsch thriller set in the deep south about a gang of college kids on spring break who spend the night in the inappropriately named town of Pleasant Valley - a decision they will regret. Persuaded by the overzealous mayor to join them for the town's annual BBQ, the prospect seems hard to resist until they begin to disappear one-by-one in the most gruesome of fashions.”

Masters Of The Universe

If you were a fan of the children’s cartoon He-Man and The Masters of The Universe… then this will blow your mind. That is because it has little to do with that TV show and goes in a totally crazy direction with He-Man and Skeletor fighting on Earth.

Synopsis:  “When the evil Skeletor (Frank Langella) finds a mysterious power called the Cosmic Key, he becomes nearly invincible. However, courageous warrior He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) locates inventor Gwildor (Billy Barty), who created the Key and has another version of it. During a battle, one of the Keys is transported to Earth, where it is found by teenagers Julie (Courtney Cox) and Kevin (Robert Duncan McNeill). Now both He-Man and Skeletor's forces arrive on Earth searching for the potent weapon.”

Warrior

I hope you are sitting down while you watch this movie, because Warrior will punch you in the face with emotion. Coming in with a 82 percent fresh on the old Rotten Tomato meter, this film is sure to be a sports classic.

Synopsis:   “An estranged family finds redemption in the unlikeliest of places: the MMA ring. Tommy (Tom Hardy), an ex-Marine with a tragic past, returns home and enlists his father (Nick Nolte), a recovering alcoholic and former wrestling coach, to train him for "Sparta," the biggest MMA tournament ever held. But when Tommy's underdog brother, Brendan (Joel Edgerton), fights his way into the tournament, the two brothers must finally confront each other and the forces that pulled them apart.”

Stealing Candy

Synopsis: “Mark L. Lester's Stealing Candy concerns three unsavory types who concoct a unique get-rich-quick scheme. The threesome attempts to put together a one-time-only online sex session featuring a famous actress. Their biggest problem to overcome is that fact that their star has no idea she will be taking part in such a project.”
