Fox Rebooting 'League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen" Because It Wasn't Awful Enough

The end of times is nigh. I'm not one to balk at a decent sequel idea or a reboot for something that could be considered a "classic" to about 10 people, but a reboot of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? Not gonna happen in a million years, right? Unfortunately FOX has yet to catch wind concerning how horribly panned the film was upon it's 2003 release so they've decided to start over again with a brand new adaptation of the comic book by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill. Ughhhhh...folks, the movie was so bad, it only made $180 million worldwide. The movie was so bad, it has a 17% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie was so bad, it put one of the greatest actors ever Sean Connery into retirement! It was seriously his last role, only voicing two video games afterward.

If you're not in the know, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen followed "famous contemporary fantasy, science fiction and adventure characters (including Captain Nemo, Dorian Gray, Tom Sawyer and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde) as they team up for a secret mission in an alternate Victorian Age world" Not sold? Really?! Yeah, we weren't either in 2003. No details as to when this new version will be released.
