Tara Reid has found a second career as one of the famous faces in the famously awful but fun Sharknado films. So far, she’s stood by Ian Ziering’s side during of the flying killer shark films but that could come to an end in the fourth film if the fans are sick of her by now.
Following the massive ratings grabber that was Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No on the SyFy Channel on Wednesday, the cable network confirmed that a fourth Sharknado movie is already int he works. Then Reid dropped another big piece of news for Sharknado fans on her Twitter account. Even though she’s been confirmed for the fourth film, she also sent a tweet announcing that the fans hold the fate of her character April in their hands.
Ok everyone the time is coming! This is when I need you too show your love for April! #Sharknado3

Fans can decide on April’s fate by going to www.syfy.com/sharknado3. You can also lobby for her life or death by posting a Tweet on your Twitter with the hashtag #AprilLives or #AprilDies presumably so that April’s ghost will know who to haunt when the fans kill her off in the next movie.
We did a quick scan of the #AprilLives and #AprilDies mentions on Twitter and it appears that #AprilLives is in the lead but it’s not by a very large margin. So it could go either way and we probably won’t know until we see the next Sharknado movie, which has yet to score a solid release date. I hate not knowing the outcome of a certain character. It’s just too nerve racking. If April was played by Lindsay Lohan, I’d definitely know the outcome by now.
