With Halloween coming up it just seems like it is exorcism season. “What an excellent day for an exorcism!” Nobody wants to have an exorcism in the middle of the summer. It’s hot, you’ll get sweaty and with the windows open the neighbors are likely to call the police quicker to stop you from torturing that poor girl who is just having epileptic seizures.
Does anyone have a napkin?
That is why I am super excited to learn that good old Chip Coffey, a psychic medium famous for his appearances on paranormal investigation shows like Paranormal State and Psychic Kids is set to perform an exorcism on LIVE television. It could be the scariest thing to appear on live TV since Janet Jackson’s nipple.
The power of Coffey compels you!
Coffey claims to have psychic abilities and can detect ghosts and demons. (You horror fans will know that a ghost is the spirit of a dead human being who was once alive and a demon is an evil entity that was NEVER human. #Metal.) This then qualifies him to remove said demons from the actual house that was the inspiration for the iconic horror film The Exorcist. On “Halloween Eve” October 30th, Coffey will appear on The Destination USA Network’s Exorcism Live! Alongside Bishop James Long and the Tennessee Wraith Chasers in order cleanse the house in St. Louis of evil demons. It sounds like Jimmy Kimmel Live! but with less green vomit and blood.
Coffey will partake in a séance at the possessed home in what is being billed as the first ever exorcism on live television. Although this time instead of a young girl, the whole house needs to have an exorcism; things could get nuts. The psychic says all hell could break loose;
“They’re Satan’s minions. They’re his worker bees, his drones. There’s something dark in this house,” he says. “That’s not a question mark.”
This is the evil house; going to really bring down the resale value.
1,2,3,4,5, 6! 6! 6! I love a good exorcism movie, but normally in real life it is just sad, with a bunch of crazy nutters keeping a kid hostage. At least with the house situation nobody is going to get hurt.
