Man That Liked His Own Wanted Post on Facebook Gets Arrested

There are many ways we can use social media to help us, but there are even more ways that it could hurt us – and get us arrested. Especially if you're mindlessly liking all posts that have a picture of you. Yes, we are looking at you criminal on the run Levi Charles Reardon.

The Great Falls/Cascade County Crimestoppers posted a wanted poster of Reardon on their Facebook page. He was accused of stealing someone's wallet and cashing checks and had two warrants out for his arrest. He must have enjoyed his mugshot or was proud of his accomplishments because he (or someone going by the same name) liked the post on the Facebook page.

The Facebook post may or may not have helped in Reardon's arrest last Friday, but he is currently in custody waiting for sentencing. But hey, based on the screenshot of the post, he was the first one to like it. That's something to be proud of, I guess.
