What Celebrity Would You Want Replicated As A Sex Robot?

The hit HBO series Westworld, about a futuristic theme park that allows human guests to murder, maul and have sex with human looking robots just wrapped up its first season and it left viewers with lots of questions. Mainly, when do we get to start banging life-like robots? The answer is sooner than you think!

The author of “Love and Sex With Robots” Dr. David Levy has proclaimed that in the near future everyone will be free to have sex with robots that resemble their favorite celebrity. While there might be some legal issues if a robot manufacture goes off and makes a sexbot likeness without someone’s permission, however Levy thinks there will be lots of financial incentive for “in demand” actresses (and actors) to give the go ahead.  He says;

'If you’re Angelina Jolie and there’s a company manufacturing a high-quality product, and you’re getting a royalty of $1200 to $1300 for each one, you could make even more millions than you've got just by licensing your appearance.'

It’s an interesting thought, but I’m not sure how many Hollywood A-listers would really sign up to have a creepy Replicant made of themselves for dudes to screw. This would definitely be something folks in the Adult Entertainment Industry would be down for. After all, there are already loads of sex toys modelled after porn stars private parts.

Don't leave me alone with that thing.

A graphic designer earlier this year actually did create a life-like looking robot replica of actress Scarlett Johansson. While this animatronic doll could laugh and blink, it was not technically a “sex doll.” Although as they say “life finds a way.” One robotics expert is concerned that robot sex will become addictive much the way some people believe Internet porn is addictive now. After all; a robot can never say no and will always be available. Why leave the house when “Olivia Wilde” is at home?

For now, one reason to leave the house may be to go to the a new Robot Blowjob Café is opening in London.  The creator of this fine establishment, “Café Pipe”-  Bradley Charvet wants to take aim at guys who frequent Starbucks on their way to work. He feels men should start their morning out with a little extra spring in their step. He’ll take two sugars and extra cream.

While places like Thailand allow legal prostitution and have become known for “blowjob bars” – places that are not as welcoming to sex workers like London are going to need a few loopholes for opening a beej café. Thus sex robots. To compete with traditional sex workers, but not put them out of business Charvet says a cup of coffee and a “how do you do” will cost about $70. That is quite the morning routine.

“Café Pipe” is partnering with a sex doll manufacturer My Silicone Love Doll to test out how the talented baristas would perform. While there will be some private rooms, he says that most customers will receive their foamy headed lattes and head “at the bar.”  Man, back in my day we thought Internet Cafes were pretty wild.

Charvet hopes to open his café in the Paddington section of London.  No word on if Café Pipe will offer celebrity robot reactions. However this brings up an important question;
