We were all a little skeptical of the Duggar family’s weird lifestyle thanks to the once popular 19 Kids and Counting show on TLC. But then that skepticism came to fruition once Josh Duggar, one of the eldest sons in the family admitted to molesting many young girls including some of his younger sisters which led to TLC cancelling the program after haulting reruns. But now we’re finding out how much exactly cancelling the show cost TLC in the long run, due to sponsorships and God knows what else they had invested in the show. So how much exactly did cancelling 19 Kids and Counting cost TLC? 24,000,000.
If there’s a reason to hate garbage reality TV more than we already do, that price tag might be the final nail in the coffin.
Even though the Duggars are no longer on television, that’s not stopping them from trying to squeeze out a few more pennies from anyone who would like to remain a fan of this familiy. You can now buy “Duggar Studios” tshirts from their website because nothing says high fashion like a tshirt letting people know you enjoy incest and pedophelia. No thanks.
I’m not sure what I enjoy more, not having the Duggar’s on television anymore or TLC learning a very expensive lesson; know what your selling.
