Restaurant Introduces Burger Covered with Crumbled Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Do you like meat? Do you like candy? Do you wish it was socially acceptable to take a big, stinky slab of dead animal flesh and cover it with delicious chocolate and peanut butter? If so, you’re in luck! Check out this peanut butter cup burger thanks to a restaurant in the Great North.

Good. Lord.

Technically, no one could legally stop you from doing such a thing except your basic common sense and will to maintain your circulatory system. However, you’re in luck because a restaurant chain in Canada is selling just such a treat to their customers.

The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro in Canada put a new burger on the menu just in time for Halloween called the Reese PBC Burger that’s exactly what it sounds like: a traditional bacon burger with onion strings and crumbled bits of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. That sound you heart is your heart trying to claw its way out of your chest cavity so it doesn’t have to endure the pain of trying to process all the nitrates from such a meaty, sugary thing.

Food critics have been kind to the diabetes inducing creation but fans flooded the restaurant’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/worksburger) with positive reviews calling it things like “so wrong that it’s right” and “strange but delicious.” I presume if they still had the strength to type, they would have added sentiments like “Suddenly, my left arm has gone totally numb” and “Quick! Call me an ambulance!”
