OMG! You Won’t Believe What Police Found In This Woman’s Purse

A Texas woman who was arrested recently on drug charges was found to have been carrying around a fetus in her purse. Officers initially approached 32-year-old Bernadette Rivera for violating a San Antonio park’s curfew when they discovered that something much more bizarre was amiss.

Upon searching Rivera’s bag and person, officers determined that she was carrying enough heroin, methamphetamine and other narcotics – stuffed into her underwear – which resulted in several felonies.

They also discovered that Rivera was carrying a two-inch piece of decomposing flesh in a plastic Q-tip box covered with tissues, the San Antonio Police Department claimed. Upon further examination, investigators determined that it was an eight-week-old fetus.

The Medical Examiner’s Office reported that it had contacted Rivera’s family and will assist in making funeral arrangements. Police have not charged Rivera with any crimes related to the fetus, which came from a miscarriage.

“Rivera left the hospital with the remains deciding that she would determine” how to dispose of them, SAPD Public Information Officer Ramona Lopez said.

Rivera was jailed on three felony drug charges and is currently awaiting trial.
