A boy named Toxey invited 21 of his classmates to his birthday party. Sadly, not a single classmate showed up at the 10-year-old’s party. After his mom wrote about what happened on Facebook, a few amazing human beings came to the rescue.
The Arkansas State Troopers read about Toxey’s sad day and decided to put a smile on his face. Five state troopers, including a K-9, rolled up to his home.
The troopers definitely made the day special for Toxey.
“They showed me all the keys to do the sirens and the horn,” said the boy. “I also got to see the cage with the dog in it.”
As if that wasn’t enough, the state troopers even brought gifts for the boy, including a scooter, basketball and a couple video games.
“They had come to give me all that stuff,” he said, “and make up their own birthday party for me.”
Said Toxey: “I cried a little bit because they did that for me. If I am remembering right, this is the only birthday that I have had with people coming.”
Toxey’s mom went back to Facebook and told the story of how the Arkansas State Troopers saved the day.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote. “I will never be able to repay the kindness you showed my family today!!”
