The Academy Is P*ssed Everyone Knows Their Gift Bag Contains This Vibrator

As you might know by now, this year's gift bag for the Academy nominees (in only 5 categories, sorry Sound Mixers) are receiving a slew of goodies priced around $230,000 like walking trips in Japan, a year's worth of Audi car rentals and even a breast lift.

But what you're not seeing is that the gift bag includes a Nuella Fiera Arouser vibrator for the ladies priced around $250. I guess that puts the whole Oscar sex toy theory to rest.

Hello, Oscar night!

The Academy isn't pleased about the press this year's gift bag has been receiving, especially with everyone talking about how the bag contains less wholesome items like this sex toy and even a weed vaporizer valued around $250 as well. So, today, the Academy filed a lawsuit against the company promoting the gift bag because they continue to use the Oscar trademark because apparently, well, they're not officially an "Oscar gift bag". Sure, the Academy is allowing the gift bags to be delivered to the nominees but the Academy also doesn't want to be associated with what might be in them.

The Academy has been so concerned about their affiliation with Distinctive Assets, especially after the less than favorable image they've gained after nominating practically all white people for their awards, the Academy made sure that the company behind the gift bags (Distinctive Assets) understood to not associate themselves with the Oscars in February of last year. But, they continued to use Oscar's trademarks and a lawsuit was filed today. Especially since everyone now thinks the Academy is handing out vibrators like they're candy. Take that, Nebraska viewers!

All I know is what we're all really walking away with is the thought of how much those nominated actresses are going to enjoy Hollywood's big night, despite possibly not walking away with an award.
