Weddings can be so beautiful and it doesn’t matter if the couple getting married are exchanging their vows at a historic, picturesque church or overlooking the ocean on the beaches of Hawaii. Their love could make a toxic waste dump look like the most perfect day in the Sistine Chapel. That’s why nothing stopped a couple of lovebirds from tying the knot in the frozen food section of their local Costco.
This couple tied the knot at a Costco. So does that mean it will last twice as long at a fraction of the cost?
Robert and Meredith Bonilla each said “I do” at the Costco store in Santa Maria, California. They thought it was an appropriate place to get hitched because they both first met there and instantly fell in love with each other. They even got married in the frozen food section where they first bumped into each other. I guess they are lucky they didn’t meet in a Arby’s. That may be special to them but that doesn’t seem right. Did they also have their wedding night in a walk-in freezer?
Wedding planners set up a line of poinsettias sold in the store for the bride to walk down towards the “altar.” She also got that wedding gown in a “mega” bulk pack of wedding dresses.
They even made a makeshift “altar” to showcase the couple on a stack of wooden shipping pallets and spent the reception in a pair of “double” recliner.
What do you guys think of this Costco wedding?
